The English actress shared a few photos from her Christmas day on Instagram, starting with a snap of her rocking a cheetah-print swimsuit while enjoying a dip in the pool.  Collins didn’t forget the accessories, either, donning a pair of oversized sunglasses, fashionable earrings and a necklace, along with red nails and red lipstick. Her husband, Percy Gibson, joined her in the pool later, taking advantage of the great weather. The other photos show Collins sitting on a couch surrounded by gifts and hanging out at the dining room table with two friends. Collins captioned the update: “Had a terrific #christmasday - 82F in #beverlyhills so was able to #swim and then a wonderful #lunch at the Bricusse’s- thank you @adambricusse and Evie! #friends #christmas #christmastime.” Many fans were enthralled by her warm-weather Christmas and enjoyed seeing her photos, with Collins getting quite a few compliments on her stylish look. One fan wrote, “Wow look how gorgeous you are..just stunning..merry christmas xx🌲❄️❤️.” “Fabulous photographs: and what a pair of spectacular sun spectacles❤️❤️❤️!” wrote another. “Don’t rub it in Dame Joan..It’s cold and wet in London!❤️✨🎄🎅,” said one follower, feeling jealous of the nice weather. Damian Hurley, the son of actress Elizabeth Hurley, commented “😍” on the post. Collins and Hurley played mother and daughter in the E! show The Royals. Hurley’s character was Queen Helena, ruling a fictional modern-day United Kingdom alongside her husband, the king, while Collins played the Grand Duchess Alexandra of Oxford. Collins has her own connection to royalty as well, as she was made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth II due to her charity work. Along with her Christmas day snaps, Collins also shared a holiday card-style photo of herself and Gibson a few days earlier, with text over the photo reading, “Let’s Sparkle at Christmas.” She wrote in the caption: “Wishing #family #friends and #fans a wonderful and #peaceful #christmas with #love 🎄💫🌠❤️.”
